Brittany Lanae’, the Poetic Assassin

Is a Spoken word artist in the Columbus area.
In an interview when asked, “How long have you been a writer?”
She replied, “Writing became my passion the first day I picked up a pen”.

Brittany organized, hosted and performed a fund-raiser for the Todd Hammond Journey Foundation. Where she helped to raise awareness to Bacterial Meningitis.

Brittany has performed in a number of area venues; Scarlet & Grey, The Ness, Martin Luther King Center, Wall Street and the Carabar just to name a few.

Where she host’s No Guns 2 A Pen Fight Open Mic. Every 4th Thursday of the month.

When she isn’t writing or performing she is usually spending time with love ones, listening to music or dabbling in the artistry of makeup.

Brittany is currently working on a video for the piece entitled “The Man Walking Backwards” .
